Blind Spot Publishing Intern
Blind Spot seeks interns for fall, winter, and summer internships.
We ask that interns make a five-month commitment for sixteen hours (two full days) per week. In return, interns get hands-on involvement with the process of publishing a small magazine from start to finish. Intern positions are unpaid. However, we do offer a stipend for lunch and college credit when relevant.
Position Description:
Depending on the skills of the applicant,
responsibilities may include:
-mailing list and databases management
-research
-archiving
-shipping and art handling
-general administration
The ideal applicant is detail-oriented and reliable with the ability to multi-task. Knowledge of and interest in contemporary photography is essential. Competence in Photoshop, Quark, Microsoft Office, and FileMaker Pro in a Mac platform are desired, but not required.
